I was so excited when I got this laptop but it turned to a nightmare in just a month.
The first one I got had an issue about inside ( most likely HDD). There was a sound like rattling and then after a week it started restarting itself so I replaced that one and got the new one. The rattling issue was same and also the screen solution all of a sudden appeared on the middle of screen. It was like wet from inside. Anyway, I don't want to waste my time to review this computer. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone of you.
But the customer service of amazon and the return/refund policy was amazing as always.

This laptop was very easy to set up and runs smoothly every time I use it, which is on the daily basis. It is also very fast, as expected from an i5 processor. The screen is HD, so the picture and video quality is great. It seems lighter than 4.4lbs, which is a plus, but I guess it's due to the fact that I used to own a 5lb+ laptop. The keyboard and mouse pad is perfect as well. I am not used to the keyboard having split keys, but this makes it easy to adjust to. The mouse pad feels good every time my fingers run through it, so it is very smooth and on point with where it is positioned to go.
Battery life only lasts up to 5 hours if you just let it sit there and do nothing or only playing music. If you are doing simple tasks like playing music while web surfing, it would usually last up to 3-4.5 hours. If watching videos, it would last up to about 2.5 hours. Even Windows 8 is easy to deal with since it is my first time experiencing it. Overall, I would recommend this. As long as you don't mind the battery life, then it is a great purchase for both college and/or home use.

The computer looks nice, moves quickly.
I ignored other reviews about the wifi...mistake. I did the upgrades, etc - still have a terrible signal. It even dropped the signal when I was sitting 6 feet from the router!
Also, I'm not crazy about Windows 8...
I appreciate Amazon's return policy - they are picking it up tomorrow!
